Politics and the Emotional Plague: An Open Forum
As the national presidential and congressional elections are approaching in November, it is timely to present “Politics and the Emotional Plague: An Open Forum.” Along with members of the ACO social orgonomy committee, Dr. Edward Chaska, medical orgonomist, will present a brief overview of the subject of politics and the emotional plague, followed by a forum in which Dr. Charles Konia will answer questions on the subject. Dr. Konia is the author of The Emotional Plague: The Root of Human Evil, recently released by the ACO Press. This presentation will provide a truly unique and timely opportunity to discuss the emotional plague as it manifests in the political realm.

What is Social Orgonomy?
Social orgonomy is the branch of orgonomy concerned with bioenergetic contact between living things and the patterns of behavior, customs, organizations and institutions that arise from their interactions and connections including families, work organizations, and society in general. It includes study of the healthy basis of happiness and satisfaction in love, family, and work relationships as well as destructive tendencies manifesting socially as the "emotional plague." The emotional plague has caused untold human misery throughout history.

The ACO also conducts a social orgonomy training program providing an in-depth course of study designed to educate qualified candidates in bioenergetic principles of relationships and social structures. A major goal of the training program is to enable trainees to apply these principles practically to counter social disturbances that disrupt happiness and to improve healthy functioning in families, work organizations and society at large.
