The American College of Orgonomy
Press Release
November 2008
Podcast Number 22 Released
The American College of Orgonomy has released its 22nd podcast from its vast archives.
The ACO has maintained a library of material, since its inception in 1968, that includes publications, audio recordings and video presentations featuring talks and lectures on all aspects of the science of orgonomy.
Our latest posting focuses on one of the luminaries of orgonomy, Elsworth Baker, M.D. Dr. Baker was the founder of the ACO and its president, and he authored what many consider the most important writing since Dr. Reich. His book, Man In the Trap is considered indispensable for those seeking an overview of orgonomy and especially the practice of medical orgone therapy.
Podcasts 20 and 21 feature readings from Dr. Baker's reminisces on his work with Dr. Wilhelm Reich. They include historical information on the early days of orgonomic research and on some of Reich's most important discoveries. This latest podcast is the first part of a rare interview with Dr. Baker. Here he discusses his insights into relationships, energy levels, and the sources of mutual satisfaction.
