Journal of Orgonomy Volume 55 no. 1

Dear Readers:

This issue of the Journal offers several new case studies, many of which focus on the uniquely fragile emotional health of the young. These articles, and others demonstrate that medical orgone therapy and a knowledge of its principles can protect Life from the effects of armored thinking, contactlessness, and the emotional plague.

The Journal Alberto Foglia, M.D. shares a case involving a five-month-old girl who suffered from agitation and severe insomnia. In two cases that illustrate the importance of building and safeguarding trust, Dee Apple, Ph.D. discusses treating a challenging adolescent boy, and Susan Marcel, D.O. recounts the treatment of an adolescent girl who suffered a psychotic breakdown. The treatment of a newly-married woman who became depressed and disconnected is presented by Theodata Chasapi, M.D. Concluding the case studies, Chris Burritt, D.O. offers a short article that addresses the emotional health of a mother learning to tolerate the demands of raising two lively young girls.

In her series, “The Emotional Plague in Everyday Life,” Virginia L Whitener, Ph.D. explores how the emotional plague manifests and spreads, offering insights and practical solutions to protect healthy Life. A brief article from Philip Heller, M.D. demonstrates that the emotional plague can be thwarted when individuals become aware of their own plague reactions. Alexis Packer, Esq. rounds out the series with a look at the rise of disrespect for authority and its destructive consequences.
